Privacy
This site uses no cookies and shows no consent banner, because there’s nothing to consent to. Here’s everything it does with your visit.
Analytics
I use Plausible Analytics to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. For each visit it counts the page, the referring site, the browser, operating system and device type, your approximate country, region and city, and how long and how far you read. It also counts clicks on links to other sites and the address of any page that wasn’t found.
Plausible doesn’t use cookies or store anything in your browser. Your IP address is used to work out the location and, mixed with a salt that changes every day, to tell one day’s visits apart. The IP address itself is never stored, so a visit can’t be traced back to you. The data is kept in the EU. Plausible’s data policy has the details.
If you block Plausible’s script, the site works exactly the same.
Your browser
The only thing this site stores in your browser is your theme choice, if you make one with the toggle in the header. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Hosting and everything else
The site is hosted by statichost.eu in the EU. Your IP address is used to send you the pages, and according to statichost’s privacy policy, nothing about the visit is stored.
The fonts, images and scripts all come from this site. Apart from Plausible, nothing is loaded from anywhere else.
